Tiny Class is a special offering at beKA + CLOUD for the month of September. Bookings are essential and places are limited to 5 participants for each session.

Part gathering, part tutorial the Tiny Class Sessions are an opportunity to bring your own creative project to the table, work in a supportive, social environment and receive guidance from Jo Olive, co-owner of beKA + CLOUD, visual artist, printmaker, binder of books and lots of other things!

Are you stuck for ideas or have you hit a creative block? Do you have a project in mind but are not sure how to start it or maybe resolve it? Maybe you would like to learn how to bind a simple book structure, start designing stationery, prepare a canvas or even set up your own artist website? This friendly, informal and supportive space might be exactly what you're after.

Please Note: Small projects are suitable for this type of class, as space and amenities are limited. You will have access to water and a wash up trough for the session.

To book a Tiny Class session, choose from one of the following dates below. There are four sessions to choose from, or you can book yourself in for all four sessions to continue your project throughout the month. Each session is $55 per person.

WHAT TINY CLASS ISN'T

Tiny Class isn't a traditional workshop, participants bring their own personal creative projects and materials to work with for the 2 hour session.

Tiny Class isn't a class where you will have dedicated personal instruction for 2 hours, Jo will be available for each participant as information and guidance is required. If you would like a dedicated personal class in a specific area please reach out, I'm happy to discuss personal one-on-one classes.

WHAT TINY CLASS IS !

Tiny Class is your chance to receive assistance, information and guidance pertaining to your creative project from your host and your peers for the day!

Tiny Class is a space where information is shared freely in a supportive, positive, non-judgemental environment. Everyone is equal and welcome :) Tiny Class isn't a critique session - however if you would like to hire beKA + CLOUD for group critiques reach out!

If you would like to know if Tiny Class is right for you, or if the project you have in mind is within Jo's creative scope and experience, please contact the studio with any questions you may have.

A Type of Cloud is inspired by warm words, simplicity, and marks made by hand. We draw on vintage ephemera, art history, and the written word to create everyday objects that invite quietude, joy, and connection.

Artist and printer Jo Olive begins each collection with pen to paper—working through collage, drawing, and relief printmaking before bringing designs to life on vintage presses. It's a hands-on process that connects us to printing history and the quiet pleasure of making things by hand.
